Enough is enough....

Since we lost all the trees to the tornado we were concerned about Winter and snow buildup and I would say our worries were justified. The above picture is a bank that developed after about 6 hours on Saturday. You can see that the drift is about half way up to the roof which measured about 5 feet. It is pretty amazing!

We feel like we are living on the great tundra and expect a polar bear to mosey across the wasteland any second.

I guess we were lucky that the bank developed just about 5 feet from our porch or we would have never gotten out.

Here's to living in Minnesota - not!!!

  1. From the looks of your snow, you could be just down the road from me... this is typical winter scenery around here ... watch out for those great white sharks so they do not swallow you up! (the peaks of the drifts look like the dorsal fins on the shark so we call the drifts the great whites)
Hope you all have a great Christmaas with lots of laughter and good friends.
