Coming Full Circle
I feel as though healing has actually taken place here on the Sayetta Homestead. We have replaced a few trees, replaced the ducks lost in the tornado and cleansed the land of all the debris, nails, miscellaneous whatever's that remained strewn about.
It is an odd feeling, one that is satisfaction in replenishing so much that was lost and yet feeling unsettled in an odd sort of way. It was hard to pick where to put 3 large evergreens when we lost over 200 but we found homes for them and they have names:
Grace
Hope
Solitude

Southern Winds
You can see the tilt of the trees that we just replanted. The Southern winds are warm but strong.
We have been working on repairing the fence line and we finally have two paddocks done and can now bring home our last horse which is the Daughter of of my mare.
Dusty meet the World, World, meet Dusty. Dusty is my Step Son's first horse and is an aged gelding that was a 4H project and then left out to pasture over the Winter. He needs some groceries but boy is he an absolute sweetheart! Michael may be taking some courses in Equine Training with Josh Lyons and it looks like he may have found his drive in life.

A Weird Week...

- 1 ambulance ride for Moi
- 1 dog kicked by horse and loses her eye
- 1 alert that someone is bootlegging our charts and selling on an auction site and even using images with our name Heaven and Earth Designs
- 1 horse down for several hours with colic
- 1 piece of jewelry that I have decided to keep (see above), isn't that the most beautiful and tender shade of pink (Pink Peruvian Opal) and then I added the word Faith because God knows I need it.....
